Joyce Bastable was 80 years old when she passed away on 22nd June 2006. She had 5 daughters and 8
sons (Raymond, Susan, Hazel, Gina, Jackie, Dave, John, Alan, Janet, Ian, Ronnie, Stuart and Darren),
lots of grandkids and great grandkids.

Dad passed away on 5th November 2007, when he was 79 years old.

This is about my mum and dad, who have been buried in Barham, Dover. My mum was the first on 22nd
June 2006, follow November 5th 2007, my dad has passed away.

Dad was absolutely devasted and can't cope without his wife died because they never fall apart from
day one. His heart broken when she gone but dad had wonderful support by his children and everyone.
My parents were totally devoted to each other and couldn't without each other.

Poem from 5 daughters & 8 sons

As we look back over time we find ourselves wondering..
Did we remember to thank you enough for all that you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides to help and support us..
To celebrate our successes, and thank you for the simple things like laughter, smiles and time we
shared?
If we have forgotten to show our gratitude enough dad and mum for all the things you both did, were
thanking you now. We're hoping you knew all along how much you mean't to us and how perfect you
both were.

Night night mum and dad, we love you, we know that you are still with us, as you live on in the
hearts of us that love you both so much. Love Bastable Family.

Our special Mum

Miss our mum most of all and dad too
It's weird not having both of you around,
lifes so difficult is what we've found.
Everthings hard, my head is all mixed (Ronnie is)
unless you both are in our mind and thinking of you
Although it's been good to be on our own,
It's just not the same we feel so alone.
I know that sometimes things seemed so bad,
but it's not the same without Dad around.
Our mum is so special she is the best of the world
but none of that matters they are still our special parents.

Love you both
